August 17, 2010: Presidential Task Force on Sustainability Town Hall Meeting was held at the University Centre.

January 16: 16th Annual Environmental Sciences Symposium
EnviroNomics: Problem or Solution? Linking the Environment, Business and Economics was held in Rozanski Hall, University of Guelph on January 16, 2010. This Symposium explored the capacity of business and the economic system to address environmental problems. There was a diverse array of speakers such as Mr. Peter Robinson (CEO of the David Suzuki Foundation), Frank de Jong (Former leader of the Green Party of Ontario), Ms. Frances Edmonds (Director of Environmental Programs at HP Canada), and the University of Guelph’s very own Dr. Elizabeth Kurucz and many more!
